For lack of better title. XD Just letting everyone know I'm still around, just cramming for the end of the quarter. I'm slowly making my way through comments and deviations. If you're looking for more, check out my flickr account: [link] and if I know you I'll add you as a contact.

In other news, I'm hitting the Florida Keys over Easter/Spring break, stopping at Aquatica. Swoooosh!

Stress-Free! [for one week, at least]

Hello, everyone! After taking a nice long four-day weekend to tend to my swollen mouth, I got back in the groove only to be bombarded with makeup assignments an what not. And of course, they hammer you before breaks, and I nearly had one teary surge of emotion every night due to the stress. Unfortunately, this year is likely going to seem easy in comparison with my senior year as it is:

Honors Calculus
Honors Economy - Study Hall
AP Environmental/Zoology
AP English
AP Government
AP Drawing/2D Design
Justice & Peace - Social Justice

Yes, Mom is making me take a semester of study hall. MAKING ME. I wanted to take phsych. Whatever. According to my calculations, if I get all A's next year, my cum. GPA will be a 4.73, .02 points off from the average GPA of incoming freshman at most Ivy Leagues, and of course.. Duke! Yeah, everyone thinks I have a pretty good chance of getting in with the GPA, 6 AP credits, the Legacy program, and my volunteer work at DLC. I'm not getting my hopes up until I find a scholarship for volunteer work on-campus or something, because if I do get in I'll be up to my ears in student loans for the rest of my life. Anywho, my four free applications are Duke, UNC, NC State, and UNCW, and then I'm also planning on applying to Florida, FIT, and UCF. If I don't get into Duke, I'm going to college in Florida, but don't tell my mother that.

But yeah, rght now I'm on mid-winter break (oh how I love these BS reasons that we don't have school at Gibbons) and I'm down in Florida again. We're planning on going to SWF on Tuesday if the weather is nice. Maybe a trip to Mote or Clearwater later in the week. Or St. Augustine, I'd love to see how the place looks now, and to wish Nellie a happy 55th.

The Publix sweet tea is half the reason I come here. <3

Also... I may already have a date to prom. And he's a senior! Not that that's amazing or anything... I just like it because I'm older than most of the juniors, and I can't stand vy immature men.

Could you find a more appropriate word to describe me? I think not.

Anywho, yeah I've been kinda stuck between a rock and an emotional breakdown for quite a while, so sorry for completely ignoring all of you. Yes, I did try to post a few deviations. So far only four from Atlantis. I'm getting there.

The Marineland trip was a bummer. It was between 40 and 50 degrees; you really couldn't tell because of the sporadic gusts of wind. They're really not at all close to being done with the new main pool. All they had you could see was the viewing windows for one of the side pools (seawater, so you really couldn't see anything anyway). My family was cold and tired, so I didn't torture them. No good photos, it was late afternoon. It was interesting though, because I did get to see Nellie and Alvin. They weren't interactive, but I wasn't expecting them to be because there wasn't very good visibility in the pool.

I'll get around to everything this weekend. And by that I also mean hopefully finishing the coding for my new website. =D Oh yesh. The reason? I'm getting my wisdom teeth taken out on Friday. 11:00. Sharp. Yeah, kinda freaking out. So I'll be bed ridden all weekend (boo) and I can't work out again for another week or two (yay). Hah, I'm such a lazy ass. XD

Huzzah for Jell-o, milkshakes, applesauce, Guitar Hero and Endless Ocean! What a fun weekend I have ahead of me. Minus the inevitable agony.

Cheers.

Oh yes... my dad picked me up a SW T-shirt with manatees on it at the airport in Orlando when he was there the past two days. Wasn't that nice? =)

Meh. I officially hate the word CANCEL.

Yes, SeaWorld stop is completely and utterly CANCELLED! *sigh* But that's not the only thing; we had to cancel our Powerboat tour because the other half of us didn't want to spend the money. Yet they had a nice time at the Casino. Ergh. We probably would have cancelled anyway because Dan got food posioning and was throwing up for almost two days. On a lighter note, it gave me a whole 'nother day to take phin photos, and we got to go to the straw market. Yay! I got a cute little hand-woven basket with a dolphin and my name on it, and a pretty little Kate Spade knockoff for around twenty bucks (what can I say, I like stripes). But back to the bad news. No SeaWorld at all. Yuck. It's all 'cause of Dad, but I can't really blame him. Mom still wants SeaWorld to remain a family thing (all FIVE of us) so money was an issue after coming back from an expensive foreign trip, Dad's knees (and mine, a lil bit) are killing him after climbing so many stairs for water slides, and he needs to get home to send his company the police report for his stolen laptop in order for them to get him a new one. So yeah, all bad timing. However, I am utterly promised a February stop, and THRICE the awesomeness come March with Discovery Cove, Aquatica, AND SeaWorld. Yes!

In mini-compensation for the 3x failed SW visit, we're stopping by Marineland in St. Augustine to check it out. Not expecting a lot though- it's free admission because they're remodeling and it looks like crap. It'll be awesome afterwards, though. Still, it'll be cool to see Nellie, the oldest captive-born dolphin at 53, and Lily, the only blonde dolphin in captivity. Plus, it's a complete historical landmark in marine mammal history. I don't know... I'm kinda scared to overexpect. Bah, more dolphins! Okay! I can do that.

Free dolphins, I might add. XD

PS: Meg, thanks, you're awesome. I know, it's killing me to wait another month. 'Til then!

*sigh* That's better.

So, no updates on that loser who stole our stuff. They had a liscense plate number and a physical description from community watch but I guess he stole the car. Maybe we'll get a call while we're gone. Odds are most of the stuffs probably pawned, and Dad's laptop's probably wrecked because it was password protected. But it didn't ruin Christmas, oh no no. We had a nice holiday with our friends down here in Florida. Quite prosperous, in some respects. =D

Everything together, from family, friends, and the big man. (yes, he still visits us XD)

A Dell Inspiron 1420 laptop computer! :JAWDROP: I totally wasn't expecting this. I mean, wow. I guess everyone's tired of me monopolizing their computers the night before AP work is due. Oh yeah, it's pink. I woulda picked yellow or green probably, but hey, I ain't gonna be picky. I think my mother thinks it's my favorite color. Well, my room's still pink, but that was done seven years ago. Um... she got me a pink phone, a pink iPod (the olde mini)... pattern? Y/n? Oh yeah, I got a matching 160 GB ex. hard drive that DOESN'T HAVE TO BE PLUGGED INTO A FREAKING WALL. I mean really, it took people that long to get one that didn't need a power cord? Sheesh.

Then my mom went out today with Lauren and Marie to spend their gift certificates... Aeropostle, Abercrombie, American Eagle... all that crap, so I didn't go. Well she decided that since I had never heard of Anchor Blue prior that it was okay to buy me stuff there and force me to wear it. Okay, so it's not that bad- she got me a cute brown tote and a pair of long button up shirts in teal and rose. Then she decided to get me a white polo for school. I was like oh okay nice and then I noticed that she went out of her way to get one with a damned butterfly on it. Oh, we had just been talking about how I despised those little butterflies. But whatever. I'll wear the darn thing. Weirdest part, she started pointing out all of this stuff wth skulls on it. Okay mom, so it's okay to wear skulls and skeletons now, as long as they're pink and preppy? Right-o.
EDIT- Okay, I admit it. After looking through the online store I'll admit that some of the stuff is cute. Lord help me if I'm ever forced to wear those knit boots with the pink skulls and pom poms on them. But their flats are adorable! scroll dooown [link]
